With Halloween just around the corner, it’s that time to start organizing your costume party. One of the key components of this obviously is to have quality sound from your music player. While Kinivo has plenty of options to give your party a BIG sound boost, we’ve thought of a few easy speaker hacks to help you get more sound if you’re in a tight spot or running out of time to plan.

The Speaker Bowl

This is the quickest and easiest way for you to improvise a speaker for your next party. Place your mobile device in a ceramic bowl and enjoy louder music. This happens due to the concave shape of the bowl.

 The Paper Roll Speaker

This speaker concept “speaks” for itself. The Paper Roll Speaker can be created in as little as a minute. Grab a paper roll, neatly cut out a slot that fits your phone tightly, and stabilize your new speaker with 2 thumbtacks (4 total) placed at a 45 degree angle on both sides of the role.

The Mega Paper Roll Speaker 2.0*

Take your Paper Roll Speaker to the next level with a concept that would make an audio engineer jealous. Upgrade your paper roll to a paper towel roll, then add one disposable red plastic cup onto each end of the paper towel roll. This will require you cutting a hole on the side of the red plastic cups that fits snugly around the paper towel roll. Place the paper towel roll against the side of the cup to trace the outline for where you need to cut.
